  • From BambooHR → CloudPayroll: With BambooHR as your single source of truth, employee details—including personal, job, and payroll information—flow seamlessly into CloudPayroll. New hires and updates sync automatically, ensuring payroll always has the most up-to-date HR data.
  • From CloudPayroll → BambooHR: Your payroll system automatically accrues leave balances according to your policies, with any discrepancies synced and adjusted in BambooHR. At the end of each pay period, payslips can also be sent straight to each employee’s Documents tab for quick and easy access.

Is the integration setup locally?

Absolutely! Our expert team, based locally in Australia and New Zealand, will work with you to setup and implement the integration BambooHR - CloudPayroll integration project.

After implementation, you’ll continue to receive dedicated support for any general or technical queries.

 
Is the BambooHR - CloudPayroll integration, two-way?

Yes, the integration fully supports two-way syncing, enabling both employee data and leave information to move seamlessly between BambooHR and CloudPayroll. This means that any changes made in BambooHR—such as new hires, role updates, or leave requests—are automatically reflected in CloudPayroll, ensuring your records remain accurate and up to date across both systems.

In return, CloudPayroll updates BambooHR with the latest leave balances and also provides the option to send employee payslips directly to their Documents tab in BambooHR. This creates a smooth, connected experience for both administrators and employees.

If your organisation prefers more control, you can opt for one-way syncing instead. With this setup, only employee data is transferred from BambooHR to CloudPayroll, while leave information continues to be managed exclusively within CloudPayroll. This flexibility allows you to configure the integration to best fit your internal workflows and data management preferences.
How much does the integration cost?

How often does information sync?

The data sync happens on a daily basis. You also have the option to push a manual sync if you need a change reflected in CloudPayroll immediately.
Can we map custom fields to CloudPayroll?

At this time, only standard payroll fields will be mapped to CloudPayroll. Our team will be working on releasing a new update to allow custom, organisation-specific fields to sync to CloudPayroll.

During the project kick-off call, our team will take the time to review your specific requirements in detail. We’ll discuss the standard fields required for this integration, to streamline your HR and payroll processes while maintaining data accuracy and consistency across both systems.
